Wore out my vinyl copy of Linda Ronstadt’s “Don’t Cry Now”. So had to get the CD. Love her version of the song “Colorado”. She has such a beautiful voice.
And being from Colorado had to get Neil Young’s “Colorado” CD.

Was looking forward to these 2 Boz Scaggs LPs but I opened them and Slow Dancer had horrible mold on the cover and sleeve and of course on the vinyl...threw out the cover and sleeve ASAP and kindly asked for a refund..I mean..really??? Dude, CHECK them before shipping ...Description was "VG"... I guess the MOLD was VERY GOOD!!!! I´d even say..MINT!!!!!

I don't hate them, they're just not my thing. (Although I have to admit that while listening I was kind of digging "Fooling Yourself" ). I was in high school in the late 70's/early 80's. The arena rock that was coming out of America at the time didn't really interest me. I was more into what was coming out of England. I'll take XTC & Tears For Fears over Journey or Loverboy. Different strokes....

Got a great haul LP from a seller in Japan...minty Japanese pressings ...for about $55 including insanely fast shipping thru DHL!

(no OBI on this one but the vinyl is great! hope it sounds better than the crappy CD I got!)

Now I have a Japanese pressing of my favorite ´Smith LP, and yes, the OBI is beautiful...got the USA pressing with the white sticker on top

and a curio I found... funny cause I got the Japanese pressing of Rio back in the day...

4ears are you decoding the MQA through the oppo 205?
I suppose it would be difficult to compare it to a cd version as masterings are different.
I am just unsure if this is a format worth getting or not...….like we don't have enough already.

And what is a pro grade MQA decoder?

Had to have this one AGAIN ..I did have it once on LP but alas, it probably ran away... cause I can´t believe they did NOT offer the original mix on the DVD since the remix is a revisionist one , i. e., don´t TOUCH Phil´s gated drums, please...and they did... got a Columbia House pressing..IIRC these were a gamble...some of them were better and some were not...put another record on...

Now these are BOTH on Transluscent vinyl! Three cheers for the late 80's pressings...hiphip...
I always liked this LP and I got it on CD back in the day so I thought I´d get it on LP...what´s gonna happen to us , indeed!

I never bought this one back in the day cause my roommates had it! Another cheap and great pressing..dig the transluscent slab!!!! We are all Sleepwakers indeed...

I just got in the mail, the Canadian pressing of Billy Joel's Piano Man. In near mint condition, better than advertised. With shipping, it was $43, the most I've paid for an album so far. (Yeah, I'm a cheapskate. )
