Endless River

Was waiting for me last night (late) when I got home from a trip. Listened through 3 times today.

Not what I expected given reviews and PF prior catalog. Clearly PF, but also clearly a homage to Richard Wright. DG's guitars are relatively subdued. What a pleasant surprise.

Opeth - Pale Communion (Blu Ray audio)
Queen - Live At The Rainbow '74 (Blu Ray)
Iron Maiden - Dance Of Death (DVD-A)
Mando Diao - Aelita (Blu Ray audio)
Jacintha - Jacintha Is Her Name - Dedicated to Julie London (SACD)
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here (Blu Ray audio from Immersion box set)
Yes - Relayer (Blu Ray audio)
Yes - Magnification (DVD-A)
Pancho Sanchez - Out Of Sight (SACD)
XTC - Drums & Wires (Blu Ray audio)

Maurice Ravel - La Valse, Ma mère l'Oye, Tzigane, Boléro, Pavane Carlo Rizzi Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra Amsterdam (SACD)
Philip Glass - Lavinia Meijer - Harp (SACD)

Oh I nearly forgot: Pink Floyd - Endless River (Blu Ray audio) and Bryan Adams - Reckless (Blu Ray audio)

I've got this on DVD-A, and preferred this album to Master Of Disaster (which I've on SACD)

Oh I've got the DVD-A too  Much better album than Master Of Disaster, better sounding too but still Master Of D not a bad one at all.. great artist, Shame there's not more of his music in surround but at least Uni gave the 5.1 treatment to probably his finest work.

Someone's been busy

yeah, who would have thought a year ago that one can get into trouble trying to lsten to all that surround stuff. I'm loving it!

haha! welcome to my world, the "to play" pile never goes down! it's a great dilemma though when you find you actually have too much new surround music to listen to! how times have changed :wave
