Clint, regarding MoFi's Stereo SACD of Dylan/Band's Basement tapes. What's your impression? Is it worth picking up? I understand there are at least 3 discs worth of unreleased "Basement" tapes and this is only a smattering.

I just received it today...so it will be awhile before it hits my rotation...to be candid I wasn't going to get it until I saw the sale at elusive disc...I only paid $15 for it with free delivery...not much of a gamble..it's really not much more than a conventional CD when you factor in the shipping...I'm not expecting stellar results as I have heard that the source was not good...I'll let you know....your former site participants thought it was ok HERE

Arrived this morning from Japan, Tangerine Dream's Phaedra, Rubycon, & Ricochet SACDs didn't have time to listen before leaving for the family festivities :music I wonder what the tax & tax handling charge will be?

This one showed up today from Hong Kong. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Not bright at all like I would have thought being from a K2 HD mastering. You can play this one as loud as you want. Your ears won't mind.

This showed up today from Japan. HMV Lawson still has some left. Cost around $43 including the EMS shipping (1600 yen) but that's all HMV offers for shipping.

Sounds great! Excellent music throughout. This would be very good material for a surround mix.

Yes it's a reissue...the ghost was not welcome and I took care of him....btw...did your disc from cdJapan ever show up?...I've never lost one yet(knocks on computer desk)..that is where I purchased this one...this one only took 6 days to reach Florida...they are killing amazon UK in speed..
