I love this album, probably my all-time favorite, so was considering the litho. But I'm not impressed. Why not the original from the inner cover in proper aspect ratio??? I'm thinking I'll pass and just get the regular set.

Wonder if this is an actual signature or just the print with signature reproduced. I've had both types with the same ad wording.

I've had to make room several times for each release of In The Court of The Crimson King. My non-Crimso fan friends mock me for my obsession with that record - I have most every version on every format released since 1969.

As usual, Importcds seems to have the prices to beat. Both The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway and Close To The Edge are listed for 27% off. Interesting that Lamb has 4CD + 1BD + a small digital download and no LP for $88 while CTTE has 5CD + 1BD + 1LP for $73.44. Of course both are overpriced but CTTE is clearly a better value just in terms of included content (unless you're really eager to own a coffee table book, that is). Hard to say how long it will take for the price to drop by 45% - 50% for either title.

Definitely plan on picking this one up, but at this point with the massive price drops after release I’m just gonna keep my eye on this thread.

And, as someone who doesn’t have this album on vinyl… I don’t mind the inclusion of vinyl!

They should leave a cut out in the huge box sets so you could place your old version in there and put it to sleep. And a pull over tiny blanket glued on the cardboard for it too. This way all the versions could stay in one place.

I already have it on vinyl and got the 5.1 last year so I'm pretty done with purchasing this again and again and the 5.1 is pretty good so I'm decidedly bailing out on ordering this one.
