Super Deluxe replaces the 2015 set, both for ATMOS and for the full alternate versions of the major songs that are included on one of the CDs.For those who have both this new Super Deluxe and the 2015 set, would you say that both sets are still essential or does the Super Deluxe replace the 2015 for you?
No, it is a new 5.1 mix. This release doesn't have the 2016 5.1 version or the 5.1 version made even earlier than that.Is the DTS 5.1 mix the same as the previous Blu Ray?
I listened to the Atmos mix on the blue ray and must say I give it a 10.Please post your thoughts and comments on this brand new super deluxe edition of the classic album "Fragile" by Yes.
This super deluxe edition features a Blu-Ray Audio disc that includes brand new remixes of the album in Dolby Atmos, 5.1 surround, and stereo from Steven Wilson.

So while I'm glad that you enjoy the Atmos mix, and you are 100% within your rights to give this a 10, I feel like people here consistently break the ratings system by not actually rating based on the poll guidelines:I listened to the Atmos mix on the blue ray and must say I give it a 10.
I have also listened to discs 3 and 4 which are absolutely engaging! I give them a 10.
I cleaned and did the zero stat gun on the LP hoping for a clean sound but boy was I disappointed with all the damn surface noise! It sounded like my over played The Yes Album from the 70s that went through Jr. HIGH, High School and College! So with that I give a 5 for the LP and that's being generous! VERY Disappointed!
I am looking forward to giving CD 1 and 2 a listen along with the rest of the blu-ray mixes. I don't think I will be disappointed with them!
The blu-ray Atmos mix is killer and with the poor pressing of the LP, I was really close to downgrading my vote to a 9, but gave this release a 10 because of the stellar Atmos mix.
This is just my opinion, but if you order an expensive boxset that forces you to purchase the vinyl as a part of it, and the vinyl is bad, then at the very least I would have docked it 1, maybe 2 points. Mind you, this is a far-reaching problem across the polls on this site, where way too many 9s and 10s are thrown out, regardless of whether they are fully deserved or not.I encourage you to vote for the discs you own and vote your true thoughts. The voting is historically based on the following framework:
30% SURROUND MIX - How good is this mix?
30% AUDIO FIDELITY - How does it sound?
30% CONTENT - Do you like it. Is it good music. Will you go back to it again?
10% OVERALL PACKAGE - Format, packaging, added value (extra discs), marbles, format, encoding, ease of play, menu layout, bonus content (videos, making of), documentation, and other things you like or don't like about it.
All previous votes, going back to 2005, are based on this formula, so changing it now is not practical or going to happen. Remember that these are guidelines, you do not have to adhere to the tabulation implicitly.
