I have a "c" drive, but how do I create the path on the computer to make the script work. Also, does this script work with files that are 44.1 kHz as well as 96 kHz? Thanks in advance for any help.

From the SQ notes:
Install the Script:
-------------------
(a) Copy it (SQdecoding_8_AK.scp) into
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Audition 2.0\Scripts
NOTE: Attached script assumes that your files will be living on I:\SQ Data\
Prepare the file for the script:
--------------------------------
(b) Start Audition, and open the WAV file to convert
(c) Edit menu < Convert Sample Type < 32 bits
Note: In case the source already is 24 or 32 bits, leave out this step.
(d) Effects menu < Amplitude < Amplify/Fade -> -3dB Cut
Save this 3 times:
------------------
(e) Save As : I:\SQ Data\front.wav
(f) Save As : I:\SQ Data\rear.wav
(g) Save As : I:\SQ Data\temp.wav
Now close all open files.
Note: You can interrupt the process at this point, if you have to do something else. I.e. can exit & re-start Audition, and continue with the next step (h).
Run the script:
---------------
(h) Options menu < Scripts < Open/New Colleaction ->
make it point to "SQdecoding_8_AK.scp"
(i) Run the script (its called "_ SQ_enc_I:\SQ Data\ v2.0" )
After done, you'll see three files in Audition:
- temp.wav -> can close w/o saving; can even delete this file afterwards
- front.wav -> this IS the SQ-decoded Fronts -> SAVE (can use another name)
- rear.wav -> this IS the SQ-decoded Rears -> SAVE (can use another name)
IMPORTANT Notes:
----------------
!- To run the script on a full-CD will easily take 6-8 hours, which includes heavy CPU load. It's best to start a full-CD conversion before you go to sleep. Next morning, it will be finished (except that you have to save the front and rear wav).
!- To run the script on a 5 minute track will take about 30+ minutes.
!- Audition uses LARGE temp files. Under Audition's Preferences, make sure for the TEMP Working Directory that:
(i) It possibly is on ANOTHER physical disc drive (otherwise your drive might swap itself to heaven ;-)
(ii) This disc drive has AT LEAST 10 GB free disc space
(iii) This disc drive was recently DEFRAGMENTED
