The Decemberists - Picaresque
OMG!!!! There is someone else who owns "The Ship"?!?!?!? I have never met anyone who has even heard of this title. I think I'm overdue pulling this one out again. One of my very favorite 'nautical' albums from 1972 originally on the Elektra Label

Unfortunately, there is nothing left at Amazon, their other site they used dropped them and CDBaby is no longer selling CDs. I used to love that site. It looks like I'm going to have to rip the album. The band put out some other albums, too--and reissued A Contemporary Folk Music Journey in 2013.

I missed that window. I guess I'll have to do a needle drop to get it in a digital format.I'm listening to this NOW as we speak And this is the remastered Wounded Bird Records RBCD and it sounds EXCEPTIONAL. IMO, a MUST HAVE album which is unfortunately OOP and now commanding BIG BIG BUCKS!
Came across this on You Tube from NICK CAVE/The SHIP SONG/Sydney Opera House
