I just now looked for a quad mix of Burn and found nothing. Sorry!
Let me know what else I should look for, please!

I did find the quad master for J. Geils Band Bloodshot. Any interest?
I'm interested in any and every thing you find! I'm ALL in for the next four Quadios – and the four after those, and the four after those, and . . . Stay Surrounded, Comrade!

... Chicago Greatest Hits, .... .

I think that is the obvious Chicago album for being one issued first as a stand alone. No?

Certainly. Every cut on the album was a top 10 hit. Even some of the biggest artist's Greatest Hits albums have a song or two that wasn't really a hit. But this one is all killer, no filler. It's certified 5x Platinum. Folks who only have a passing interest in Chicago and didn't want to fork over the money for a box set might be more willing to part with their money for a less-expensive collection of tunes that they're more familiar with.

Not to derail this thread but just a quick question. Are the quad mixes on the Greatest Hits the same as found on the individual albums? I do know a few of the tracks were shortened (Make Me Smile, Does Anybody Know What Time It Is).

Yes, please, J. Geiles Band “Bloodshot” definitely a solid Rock classic. Plus, it’s unreleased vintage Quad that would be of great interest. The Eagles Quads are important, very important. The Rod Stewart title would be killer. “Atlantic Crossing” is another solid rock album.

Are there any John Denver Quads? Billboard magazine mentioned (more than a few times) a release was coming back in the day. Also, there was a report of a Rolling Stones CD-4 coming out. It’s been rumored that a David Bowie Quad or two might exist. Thanks.

One John Denver album, Poems, Prayers & Promises, was issued in quad, however his catalog was on RCA which is now distributed by Sony, so Rhino would not have access to it. The Stones' catalog is distributed by Universal, so again, Rhino wouldn't be able to issue anything by them. As for Bowie, his 70's catalog was initially released by RCA, but Warner Brothers now has distribution of the catalog. If a quad mix exists in the vaults, then it might be a possibility for Rhino.

A rock title from the quad checklist I don’t see mentioned often is Miami from the James Gang. While I wish there was a quad of Bang, Miami would be an easy purchase for me.
I'd absolutely LOVE Miami as a Quadio, it was released as a CD-4 and Q8; I've heard it and it's better than folks give it credit IMO, with Tommy Bolin on guitar. Really comes alive in Quad of course!

@ForagingRhino

+1 for Bloodshot.

Two other albums that were assigned quad catalog numbers back in the day but never released:

Bonnie Raitt - Takin' My Time
Todd Rundgren - Initiation

Would really love either/both of these.

And thank you so much for all your efforts to bring this series to life.
Bonnie Raitt - Takin' My Time
Todd Rundgren - Initiation

No quads on those sadly.

Someone mentioned The Doors earlier in the thread, is any of their material available? Afaik some of their music was released in quad?
There was a recent set called The Singles by them that included their single mixes, and many had a blu-ray that included the quad mix release The Best of the Doors. The Doors - The Singles

(Note, this is the 1973 album The Best of the Doors, not to be confused with the 1985 release of the same name.)

I don't know if this has been brought up before.

Styx – The Grand Illusion

If I'm reading this mess correctly, not sure Rhino has rights to it

1999: A&M is made part of the Interscope Geffen A&M division of Universal.
2004: Universal Sigma begins using the A&M Records imprint for domestic Japanese releases (operating independently of Interscope/Geffen/A&M).
2006: A&M Records is made a frontline label in the UK.
2007: Universal merges A&M with Octone Records and places Octone's management in charge of combined label as A&M/Octone Records (except in Japan and the UK).
2013: A&M/Octone is absorbed by Interscope.

In 1995, Warner Music Group (then known as Wea International) sold back its interest in Interscope Records. In 1996, MCA, Inc. (later to become Universal Music Group, the world's biggest record company) purchased Interscope Records and would see most of its future releases distributed through them.
