Went ahead and pre-ordered from Amazon US for $29.50 with free shipping. Will see if any other retailers can beat that price but I expect it will hold as best offer.

amazon.de has it now available too: €25.66.
I pre-ordered this morning, just to have one copy secured.
Normally, Amz Spain ends up in the same price level and I save the shipping costs.
I'm really looking forward to listening to this one for the first time.

Happy to be proved wrong - switched my order from Amazon to Importcds (cheaper even with shipping). Amazon reducing list price before release date has been spotty.

Even if I order from a vendor other than Amazon, assuming I can cancel from thethat vendor, I typically will leave my Amazon order in place as a backup until a week before release, just in case it drops as far (or farther) than my alternate vendor... especially since canceling preorders from Amazon is so easy.

While probably not as widespread in music as it is in movies/steelbooks, there has been a spate of short-printed or short-allocated releases in the last 2 years resulting in confirmed orders at numerous vendors being cancelled, so having orders in place at multiple vendors (assuming you can cancel without penalty) is the prudent move if it's something you just have to have.

Burning Shed has it up now for pre-order at 18.33 GBP. Shipped to Canada comes to $43.02 CDN.

Meanwhile, SDE total comes to $59.34 CDN.

The Amazon.ca listing shows up, but 'currently unavailable'. I am quite curious to see what pre-order price they put on this one.

It's really too bad that Rhino has been raising the prices on box sets and reissues, and seems to be pushing vinyl pretty hard. Including vinyl in an already pricey box set just makes a package harder to buy for anyone who has long ago left vinyl behind, but in particular anyone who is mainly interested in digital surround/atmos. At least Alan Parsons acknowledges this by offering the standalone blu-rays. Thankfully for the Yes reissues if you can wait a few months after the release date, prices have significantly dropped at many outlets.
This wasn't released by Rhino but by Cooking Vinyl.

My comment was specifically about the Rhino Yes reissue campaign, but tangentially includes any big box reissue that contains digital surround mixes and vinyl. I was actually complementing AP for doing BD standalones in addition to the big box sets.

ordered at $26.05 on Scamazon
Are they about the cheapest place to order for a US ship address?
I love all the great new surround music we've been given in the last few years but
they're seriously sending me to the poor house, my SSI income is being stretched to it's limit. :(
