Those record labels are trying to do whatever they can to get us to purchase or repurchase vinyl records. Colored vinyl and picture discs seem to be a big draw. I wonder what would happen if they started doing the same with Compact Discs, SACD’s, BD’s, etc? Though, I’d rather see them start with cutting way back on the compression. Anyway, just think of how many discs they would sell again? They can leave the compressed music for streaming. If all that happened, I would start to purchase many discs again. But, we know that won’t happen because record companies are stupid. Or, it’s all about convenience? Or, a little of both?
I just realized marpow hasn’t posted in a long time! Where the heck is he? Seems to me he would be all over G N R as he’s a rocker...
