I'm glad to see a CDJapan endorsement. I happened upon that site just last week and bookmarked them as a possible source. Now I have confidence that they could be a place that I would order from.I'm constantly looking on my "source" websites for hi rez stuff and CDJapan is one of my favorites

I've bought quite a few SACDs from them, well packaged and reasonably priced.
The careful way it's packed reminds me of a small mom and pop operation...as opposed to the assembly line appearance of the larger outlets...
exactly...i'm very customer service driven so things like the way they take care in packaging is much appreciated! and gladly pay a little more in some instances to help support a company like this...
That's why you love the Moooooooooooooooooooooooooooose
I don't know if there is a specific thread where we can discus music WE WISH WOULD BE IN HI-RES SURROUND....
But, I have such a long list...but one, more obscure album I used to have...I think was made for surround. Hold on to your shorts all...
SKYSCRAPER - DAVID LEE ROTH
Man, I think this LP just has outstanding little pieces of music that would just be outstanding in surround.....just take the song Skyscraper...whoa...that needs the surround treatment IMO.
Slightly off topic, but I received today Comfortably Numb and The Final Cut books. I, finished reading TFC and, while shorter than I expected, it's a very recommendable reading. Apart from the text, there are many unseen pictures and interesting bits of information such as the explanation about the holophonics and the sound effects in the album. I finally know why you can hear a cat!
And, I think, Rontoon is on the credits!
I'd love to get another turntable...probably just for nostalgia...I probably wouldn't use it much..but just to look at it would bring back memories...
