Apple Joining the Atmos streaming game!

Noticed two “featured albums” in Dolby Atmos.

Recent release, Jack Savoretti “EUROPIANA”.

& an old album, James Arthur, “Back From The Edge” ( Deluxe Edition )

Thanks, also found the Savoretti on Tidal. Hadn't run across that one in any prior lists. Interesting Nile Rodgers production.

The Arthur is only in Sony 360 on Tidal (boo)

Ah not had access to Tidal since before Xmas, when my cheapo subscription ran out.
Could not justify the outlay.

Apple Music on the other hand...I will pay the 10 quid a month.

At this rate, my purchase of physical media will take a back seat, there is soooo much fantastic Music already released in Apple's Spatial Music line up and there is plenty more to come.

I know, sacrilege but it looks like this is whats going to happen for the future of our beloved surround music.

Especially when a large corporation like Apple get involved.

I'm with you,but it's a pain in the ass to find the Atmos tracks and albums. I'm on a three months free trail and then a tenner a month.Half the price of Tidal and I don't have to be afraid of blowing up my speakers all the time.

Yep same here, 3 months then I'm a fully paid up member.

Thinking of contacting Apple to see if their customer response is any better than Tidal's blah, blah, blah.

Sam Smith’s album “Love Goes” is in Dolby Atmos, well it appears 10 of the tracks are. Apologies, if this is already known ?

My ears seem to agree. I have ordered some physical media to confirm.

I have been listening to the Atmos content more and some problems I had with it have been resolved. I still like Qbuz better for 2- channel music and they stream at a much higher rate.

You sure can, but not in Dolby etc....
That's how I'm previewing the albums and songs.

Just get the Apple music loaded up...

But one thing to be aware of , you can only have one access to Apple Music in use at a time, unless get family cover etc.

Is the Apple music App the best way to find Atmos content (so-called spatial audio)? Is there a GUI on the 4K TV that makes the hunt any easier as I heard there is an improved remote? Are they the same? Thanks

May have been mentioned before,but Bob Marley Legend is available.Some stereo and some Atmos,but I think the Atmos tracks are the same as on Tidal.
