isn't it fascinating how someone so gifted, whether his work is one's cup of tea or not, an undeniably talented man, who's work has brought such joy to millions the world over (for me his best work is among the finest Popular Music that era ever produced) ... can be such a.. well, not to put too fine a point on it.. jerk!!!I had the pleasure(?) of meeting Mr. Simon a couple of times when I was at WB.
Let’s just say he tested the old adage “Trust the Art, not the Artist”
No questioning his brilliance though
I don’t think he was one of Art Garfunkel’s best friends, either.isn't it fascinating how someone so gifted, whether his work is one's cup of tea or not, an undeniably talented man, who's work has brought such joy to millions the world over (for me his best work is among the finest Popular Music that era ever produced) ... can be such a.. well, not to put too fine a point on it.. jerk!!!
THE 12 DREAMS OF DR. SARDONICUS would be awesome in Atmos! Curved Air's first few albums -- the first isPleaseeeeee.... Spirit earlier albums. Randy's later stuff is very good but not quite the material for Atmos in my opinion.
To hear Next or the Impossible Dream in surround/Atmos is my dream!I would adore the Sensational Alex Harvey Band albums in Atmos. Oh wow.
Here's hoping it's a Possible Dream! Stay Surrounded, Comrade! To hear Next or the Impossible Dream in surround/Atmos is my dream!
Tomorrow Belongs To Me (Live) is mine. In fact the SAHB Live album would be coolTo hear Next or the Impossible Dream in surround/Atmos is my dream!
Yes, to all of the Alex Harvey suggestions. I also love SAHB Stories. I remember as a kid it took a little while to grow on me, but grow it did. Imagine Dogs of War in Atmos!Tomorrow Belongs To Me (Live) is mine. In fact the SAHB Live album would be cool
