as an aside, it's also the 50th Anniversary of "Streetlife Serenade" - notwithstanding the AF 2015 release, I wonder if Sony Japan will give it the 7" treatment later this year, and then "Turnstiles" in a couple of years - I hope so -

Of course I ordered this. And I betcha we'll see "Streetlife Serenade" later this year!!!

You can specify in the order whether to ship everything when the last one is in, or ship as each becomes available which of course will cost more for shipping overall.

A few days ago I placed an order for several SACDs. This AM I was able to add the Piano Man quad onto the order as it isn't shipping until release date, and all the SACDs I ordered have the same Feb 28 release date

No, Bill, that's Dutton Vocalion [even number of discs 'myth']. But if you do order discs that are released at a later date from CDJapan it is advisable to ship them all together in order to conserve on s/h costs which can be quite high! And no need to worry about CDJapan's handling of shipped discs...they are among THE BEST!

This is a great release! I mean, the previous single disc releases were around $45 or so, and this one has 3 discs, so it's more or less along the lines of a box set, which puts the $66 into a good value mode, especially if you are a fan of his early work. These are the tracks that got played on Philadelphia radio that broke him as an artist and got Columbia to sign him and start his career for real.

I am so hoping for "Turnstiles" in this series. I would not be disappointed in the least bit if they skipped over "Streetlife Serenade" and went right to Turnstiles!

Not a fan of Billy Joel, while I can stomach "Piano Man" I really dislike most of his other work. So I'll pass on this one. I'm still waiting for "Borboletta". More Santana please!

I assume most other 70s Bill Joel surround releases are oop and expensive(?). I know I looked a while back and couldn't find anything, making this sacd that much more a 'must have'.
