Ordered! I have the AF version but I am collecting the 7" Billy Joels. The album has my favourite Billy Joel song: Los Angelenos.
Love that track as well. One of my favorites on the album and a really good indicator of how his songwriting was progressing and where he was headed.

I too, am tempted to order this one and ditch the AF just for the 'collection', but man...there's so much good stuff coming out these days and only so many dollars to throw around...
 
On it's way to The Netherlands as well! I used registered airmail, so it may take a while. Hopefully not too long though, as we'll be away next week and then it will likely be delivered to one of the neighbours (one of which is Japanese and he might think it's for him! 🤪)

Yep, I just bit on HomerJAU’s NUC and I need a new NAS.

Went to Barnes&Noble yesterday and picked up four CDs under $10 each, though.

I don't personally place a lot of weight on the packaging, so long as the audible content is good, but these 7" releases have real added value IMO.

Of course, but I also love the nostalgia of seeing the old graphics, and the fact that someone in the proper place cares enough to spend the effort to duplicate those adds, for me, to the value of the package. It's something that they didn't have to do to make the product marketable. The fact that they did it is what makes it nice.

Like Rhino with the tape box scans and the replica labels on the discs. Not needed to sell the product, but a nice touch
