What am I missing GOS?
I go to JPC.de and see EUR 159.99 (Euros I assume). Then I go to google and pull up a Euro to Dollar converter and enter 159.99. The result I get back is $168.80.

I figured Gene was getting a Quantity Discount

I saw the same thing. I’m on the fence with this release, but figured I’d take a look at what shipping would be after throwing it in my cart. Didn’t take more than a few seconds to delete it after seeing that number.

Like you, I’ll wait a bit and see how other options shake out.

I ordered as well. Price 137.95 Euro.
Looked at my credit card account and it indicates $145.59 pending.
That's a decent price for this massive box set as far as I'm concerned.

Actually you can thank @GOS for his information yesterday. I'm not sure why his was $151.36 but we're in the same ballpark so if mine ends up being a little more, no big deal.

I preordered long long time ago. Now I'm pleased to read that SWT did the 5.1 mixes. And I think lossless on those BDAs. If there is no Atmos just stick with the 5.1 mix. As I've no Atmos setup right now.
And I will retire my Penteo upmixes soon...

Absolutely agreed. As well not bought. Simply too expensive for the content and for my needs. Even those Floyd immersive boxes weren't so expensive. And did not contain that much useless $h**.

Was there a reason posted why this box was delayed and pre-orders halted earlier last spring?

I used to hesitate spending for releases I thought were too expensive or even marginal for my taste. Then I learned my lesson a few years later when my taste changed and/or I simply changed my mind for whatever reason. But too late! It goes out of print. The price would be even higher, doubled or even tripled. Now I don't hesitate anymore. I could always sell it later.
