I own a copy. Beautiful illustrations. First edition, I think. It was a shame that Gallico disliked the album. From memory, I think he may even have tried to prevent its release. He certainly was opposed to it. (It's not really a novel, more a cross between a children's story and a picture book.)
There is also a film on DVD

Where to start...
So many albums in surround and every single extra well except for the BBC Live Quad broadcast you could want
Guess my Oxford Dickie sourced DVD-A file will live on.
This is how it should be done!
Granted the latter material post 1977 or so is not so interesting to me but for the fan it's a complete overview with nothing left out
Kudos to Tayler for the incredible mixing
This is what I love to hear, newly mixed music from a classic band
10 all day loooooonngg!
Snap one up before they become unobtanium, might already be too late!

I have many Camel CDs. I enjoy them regularly. That's why I really doubted whether I was going to buy this box. In fact, it was only the blu rays that interested me. Of course... selling was an option, but it's always a matter of waiting to see if that works and of course I'm also attached to the original covers. I decided to let this one pass me by. After all, there was other music that I was looking forward to. With much pain and regret I saw the box being showered with compliments and only tens....

Now let me meet someone who has the box, but can't or doesn't want to do anything with the blu rays. I can't remember ever being so friendly to a person. The deal was quickly closed and in the meantime I've been enjoying the great mixes on it for a few weeks now. I follow all the compliments that have been given. This is truly sublime. Also a well-deserved 10 from me

During the Hammersmith concert (on disc 32) the guitar solo right after the saxophone solo - which is great - is incredible!!! The songs is Rhyader Goes To Town. The guitar playing throughout the gig is fantastic but this solo... I love it!

P.S. never listened to Camel before, and never typed 'disc 32' before 😅

Edit: it can be found on YouTube as well:

I received a MCA sampler back in college from the late, great ICE Magazine. On there was the song "Echoes" by Camel. I loved the song, explored further and now love the band. I have this boxset also, but have yet to make it through it. The Snow Goose is in my Top 20 albums of all time. The music fits the story perfectly.

Listened to the albums Rajaz and A nod and a Wink from Camel today. Highly recommended. They are not in the box set but they are awesome, Played them in pseudo 5.1 with my set up. Magnificent guitarwork by Andy Latimer. A bit like David Gilmour. These albums also deserve a 5.1 release!! SWT please!!! 🎸🎵

All four later albums (not included in the boxset) are brilliant, and they all sound great in fake surround
