With DV’s pricing, five’ll get you ten. It’s almost obscene that they ever put on a sale!

So, wait you guys, there is no love for Angel Clare and Roy Halee's sublime original quad mix?? I love Breakaway, too, but a song like "I Shall Sing" in quad is not to be missed. :phones

Some of us don't want to overload the QQ servers by posting pics of all of our DV quads. ;)

I have those Art Garfunkel quads and really enjoy both of them.

I have ‘em both. My fave is “Same Old Tears On A New Background.” Too bad that “Watermark” is not in quad(my fave Art Garfunkel album ever!).

Of course I meant "Free For All" rather than the stereo only "Cat Scratch Fever"

The most traditional coupling by far is the Faure Requiem. Apparently there was a quadraphonic issue in Japan also owned by Sony. No clue if it's any good: https://www.discogs.com/release/8174788-Fauré-Kyoko-Ito-Norio-Ohga-Tokyo-Metropolitan-Choir-Tokyo-Metropolitan-Symphony-Orchestra-Kazuo-Yam
Would love to hear it. And, Alex Ross tells me, this year is the centennial of Fauré's death.

I'm hoping they can get a hold of some of the Japanese-only Quad titles. The Motowns, The Avcos, The Musicors (a 2-SACD set of both Hot Butter albums? yes please!)
Better still.... how about the Belafontes? Carnegie Hall, Live in Japan and the Unreleased "Play Me". That would have some broad market appeal for sure. I just fear time is running out.... the next generations are just not into this stuff. They think it's cool - but most I've encountered seem content with their ear buds.

The RCA Belafonte quad masters would seem like suitable DV releases. His recordings are pretty great in general.

I’m losing (some) hope for the rest of the Japanese quad albums. It’s been too long since we got just the Jackson 5 quad as a fold-down. On the other hand all of this quad activity around Warner Rhino and Sony speaks well for the idea of 4.0 in this modern era. Things could go either way. But pop vocals from the early 60’s, and on RCA - it’s quality listening.
