Thankfully, back in 2015 RHINO RECORDS went back to the original analogue master tapes and released a slew of Van Halen's classic albums in stunning sonics. I was fortunate to buy over a half dozen of these treasures from AmazonUS for about $5~6 each and they REALY SOUND AWESOME. Remastered @ Bernie Grundman studios so you know they're GREAT!

Wow, sad news but at least it was not Covid. He would have passed without the pandemic, sounds like.

Saw them in 78, 79, 80, and 2015. Enjoyed all but the 1980 when DLR was being a poser. Eddie was an amazing guitarist. He did not invent the tapping technique, but he certainly made the style his own and applied it in awesome ways. My heart goes out to his family and fans. It hurts me too.

Unreal!!!! one of my fave concerts ever - VAN HALEN - Women & Children First Tour - right up front General Admission freaking unreal.
