Yeah I'm a weird REM fan, I think, cuz I really like their albums starting with Automatic For The People. Their previous stuff, I like the singles but that's about it so far. For me, the 90s and 00s stuff is my favorite.

Yes! Steve Wilson's Penteo tracks on Octopus were fantastic! I would not have guessed that they were not mixed from multitrack.
A lot of time has come and gone since that UMG website with all the 5.1 SACD pictures of every Steely Dan album on MCA Records , that were being readied for release .
I wonder if we'll ever see any soon in the upcoming year/s ? No doubt they'd all be in Blu-ray , as is the UMG standard now.

Since I posted here last, I picked up Scheiner's 5.1 mix of Sting's Brand New Day. Stunning mix of a great album.
