so.. good things to say about the set so far (now i'm getting over the shock of there being no Lossless 5.1 option on the Blu-ray!) the Book is superb and almost worth getting the set for!
even though, also rather shockingly, i can find no mention made of Greg Penny anywhere in the book at all (and only the most teeny tiny scant reference to the 5.1/2004 SACD!) the book is a real labour of love thing, its brilliant, so i can forgive any such omissions.
the bonus tracks are great, genuinely never released EJ stuff is a real treasure.. and the video content looks and sounds as good as we're ever gonna get.
would i still get it, knowing what i do about it now? probably. could it have been better? Lossless 5.1, Atmos and some transparency and mention about mastering etc., would have made it near perfect. oh well, maybe they'll get it right on the Honky Chateau box..
