Only 4 1/2 of my top 50 are available in surround. That's kind of depressing, considering I own hundreds of albums on DVD-A, SACD & DVD-V.

just imagine how many of your top 50 could have made it out in surround, if the labels hadn't insisted on rehashing the same old kind of stuff (and in fact the self-same albums!) in surround, from one failed format to another.. but had instead had the courage of their convictions and released something different, rather than 8 formats and mixes of Machine Head (et al..) in surround over the years..!!?

great list! and good to see some love for Goldfrapp's "Black Cherry"!

if only that one had made it out in 5.1, as intended..

I can't believe these mixes haven't escaped somehow, in the form of promo's, etc..

..when they made it all the way to being mixed and readied for a commercial surround SACD release.
