-Us
-John Wick (1 & 2)
-The Big Lebowski
-Get Out
-Kingsman: Secret Service
-Halloween (the original)
-Alien
-E.T.
-Sicario
-Evil Dead 2

Nice list!

Have you seen the trailer for the next Kingsman movie? It looks like a prequel called The Kings Man. I liked the first Kingsman movie. I’ve seen the sequel to that one in the theater and was not impressed. Though, I loved EJ’s role. I may need to watch it again.

I'm really looking forward to "The King's Man"... I loved the first two Kingsman flicks; for me, they surpassed the last few James Bond films for sheer campy fun and action (although I did love "Casino Royale" and "Skyfall"). Not really looking forward to the upcoming 007 character subversion.

Nice! This 4k release seems to get poor reviews from "videophiles"... something about the image being too sharp and lacking "grain"... I bought it anyways :)

A rave review from a poster on Blu~Ray.com for T2 in Native UHD4K. I have BOTH the UHD4K and 3D versions of T2, but like Perpendicular ...... T2 burnout ....I will watch BOTH one day!

The best this film has ever looked! A must for any fan.

I have easily re-purchased Terminator 2: Judgetment Day more times than any other film. Three versions on DVD, two separate Blu-Ray editions, and now I purchased the 4K release after seeiing the 3D release in theaters last summer.

I was really worried because on my first copy on Blu-Ray, James Cameron way over did the NR and left the picture looking really soft. Thankfully, the last edition on Blu-Ray brought back the grain (and I will still keep that version in addition to this new 4K transfer).

The new 4K release is sourced from the latest version sent to theaters in 3D last summer. There's slight changes from censoring of Robert Patrick at the beginning of the film to other minor edits throughout. Ultimately, I really love this version of the film, and I'd say this James Cameron's "Final Cut", akin to what Ridley Scott did with Blade Runner.

The first time I watched the 4K Blu-Ray was back in late December on my Sony UBP-X800, and the sure enough, James Cameron compleletly erased the film grain, but this isn't some cheap NR job. ALL the detail is miraculously retained. In addition, the color has been entirely re-graded.

I read in some reviews (even on this site) that characters look "waxy" in parts. Well that the reviewers are seeing is characters that are slightly out of the focal plain. The second they're in focus, skin/hair detail is RAZOR sharp.

Audio remains excellent, but I would have loved a Dolby Atmos or DTS:X mix.

Since my first time watching it, I have upgraded my player to the flagship Sony UBP-X1000ES. The picture is so clear and rich with detail on this player that even when characters are slightly out of focus I can still see the detail. Black levels are rich with lots of depth.

This transfer is easily the best the film has ever looked and a must for any fan!

Not a John Wick fan, I take it. For me, the John Wick films are even more fun than the Kingsman!
Was that a question directed at me? I think the John Wick movies are great and done well. Contrary to people’s opinion, I liked the second Equalizer movie more. I own both John Wick, both Equalizer and the Atomic Blonde movies. I love those kick-ass type films. :)

Oh, cool! Me too... I just got the impression that you thought there were too many of these films based on your quote... I still need to see the Equalizers and Atomic Blonde :)

Another one I havn't seen, but I just bought the 4k, so eventually I'll check it out when I get a 4k monitor (how long do these plasma screens last, anyways... I bought mine 10 years ago, and they told me it would only last 5 years!)

IMO, your 10 year old Plasma TV is on life support .........I had a Panny Plasma in my bedroom for about 6 years and I turned it on one fateful night and BLACKNESS. Time for a spiffy new OLED TV.
