In 24/96. Nice remaster, shows the potential of the 80's material with a bit more depth and bottom end.

Well, yeah. Maybe I said that during one of my "I hate southern rock" moments. This particular album does hold a place in my memory banks that conjures up all kinds of memories...most of which involve mass quantities of Busch Beer and slow cruisin on the country roads of McLean County in the old 4-4-2 with a couple girls sitting in the front swivel AND next to me on the console. Yes, I do have that memory.

Gazpacho - Soyuz. Tjeir new album in 24/28. It has some nice work on the toms which are mixed in the soundfiled as if they are between front right and rear right. It had me almost checking the file, LOL.

Lunatic Soul - Under The Fragmented Sky 24/44,1 More or less a companion album to last year's Fractured. Great stuff if you are into a blend of electronics and acoustic instruments.

Where can we get the FLACs from? I assume they are both 2.0? I can't see them on Burning Shed or Gazpacho's or Mystic for L/Soul websites.

Wolfgang Plagge, music from the Erik Poppes film UTØYA 22. juli. Digital single. 2L, 2018. Available in stereo mp3, stereo MQA, stereo FLAC (96, 192, & 352), stereo DSD (64, 128, & 256) and 5.1 FLAC (96) & DSD (64)--although it was recorded in 7.1 DXD. I bought the FLAC 5.1 version.

I haven't seen the documentary, but this piece--slow and spare--is very affecting. (And even though it's solo piano with a tiny bit of faint & subtle organ, very immersive.)

This is one of my all time favorites, now in 24/192 stereo, hooray for HDTracks, released today.
Expanded and remastered edition of Then Play On, Fleetwood Mac’s 1969 debut on Reprise. This reissue features the original U.K running order and track segues, with “One Sunny Day” and “Without You” making their first appearance on a CD issue of the album, as well as four bonus tracks, including the revered single “Oh Well – Pt. 1,” which boasts one of the great guitar riffs in rock history and has been covered by likes of Billy F Gibbons, Jimmy Page, and Tom Petty.
Fleetwood Mac was already a popular blues band in 1969 when they released Then Play On, the group’s stellar third studio album. It was the first with guitarist-songwriter Danny Kirwan and ultimately its last with founding member Peter Green. The album’s powerful mix of blues and rock includes standout tracks like “Rattlesnake Shake,” “Searching For Madge” and “Coming Your Way.” Rhino’s newly re-mastered and expanded edition includes four bonus tracks originally released as singles: parts one and two of “Oh Well,” “The Green Manalishi (With The Two Prong Crown)” and “World In Harmony,” which is available on CD for the first time.

So marpow, do you have CD of this release for comparison?
I have the CD and it sounds wunnerful.

Would definitely spring for the 24/96 if it's worthy.
One of my all-time favorite albums.
I'm a big fan of Fleetwood Mac as long as Danny Kirwan was in the band.

Spring for it. I loved it and I have worn out records, cassettes and the lot, I know it perfectly and I had not one ounce of problem. Love it when PG squeezes the neck of his quit arms and you can hear the creaking. This is Peter Green’s Swan Song, a must.
Plus the extra tracks are fantastic

What a great post.....wait a minute...that's mine. lmao

Hi Duncan, that is correct, both are 2.0. I bought them from 7digital

I noticed 7digital has both 44.1/16 and 44.1/24 FLACs of Riverside’s Wasteland. Is there any way to know the source? I already have the CD and would be very disappointed if the 24-bit FLAC were just an upsample.
