I'm sure stuff has changed.

The auto-play in full screen pisses me off too. You don't need it. There is a special file update that fixes it. I'll look for it. Till then, the back button will take you to full screen playback.

is there any fanart loaded in yet?
This setup is running Kodi on a PC. I can get the full screen playback by clicking anywhere on the screen. Yes, I have fanart loaded.

Getting back to a topic that has been discussed in this thread, where do concerts and music videos "belong?" I don't know the answer to that, but I have several videos that make me go, hmm. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers: Runnin' Down a Dream, for example. It's a documentary movie with a lot of concert footage, but there's a lot of content between songs, so I've always kept it in my Movies folder.

R.E.M.'s 25th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of New Adventures in Hi-Fi is another example. I ripped three kinds of videos from the blu-ray: five music videos, an hour-long or so "Outdoor Projections" video that consists of several songs, some of which are in concert form, and a thirty-minute EPK that is a documentary with some performance footage. I forgot about all those different kinds of videos I had in the album folder, so when I created a CUE file, it was a mess. I'm going to have to decide how I treat those different videos, whether and how to split them and where to put them.

Your choice is to

place them in a music root folder and create a cue file
This option will give gapless playback with no glitches, along with a fully functional track list. Just like you were playing an album. The video will show up in thr music library along with the artists other Music albums.

Or

place them in a music video root folder and create .nfo files.
There is one .nfo file needed for each video file. So if you split the video into chapters, each chapter needs an .nfo file. This will not play gapless. There will be a notable glitch between chapters. You can also not split into chapters and use a single .nfo to describe the full video, there will be no separate visible track list. The skip buttons in kodi will still work The video will show up in the video/music video library.

My current practice is to keep video in a video root and keep continous concerts intact without splitting into chapters. Sometimes the content is already split like when you get 2 or 3 official music videos. I leave these split.
