Aside from the packaging and a 'coffee table book' you get a new Atmos and hires stereo mix (unknown quality), a slightly more complete version of a live show (previously released, CD stereo only) and a small assortment of demos (digital download only, quality unknown), for ~$100. By today's pricing standards, not outrageous but not a generous deal either. At least there is a separate vinyl release which makes it less wasteful for those who have left vinyl behind. Once again, the blu-ray capacity seems to be under utilized which makes the digital download somewhat curious.
Unfortunately, there is just too much unknown about the quality of what's on offer for me to pull the trigger. I'm going to wait until either some pre-release tracks are available or early reviews appear. Given how Peter Gabriel handled the release of i/o, I think we'll see some tracks on streaming ahead of the physical release date. I also believe this will remain widely available after the release date - like the Yes reissues, the price may drop after that.
