Adam, do you have these two BD-A's from The BBB band feat. Bernie Dresel? I couldn't find detailed pics of them...

They are not super rare and still available in US online stores like cdbaby or amazon, but they apparently not cheap with retail price around $30-35. :(

Adam, that's a sweet collection! Now, since you took a picture of it, I'll ask you specifically the question I posed in the Allman's thread.... ;) In the Allman's Fillmore set, does each show flow as if it is a concert, or are the beginnings and endings of songs heavily edited as they are in the original Fillmore release? I'm kinda using the answer to this question to decide whether to get this or just stick with the SACD release... Thanks in advance!

heya sorry for the delay was grabbing dinner etc., i'm far from your man on the subject but afaik the DTS CD and Surround SACDs are the same performances just different mixes and the BD's are presented as several shows spread across multiple discs (and different surround mixes again), with the surround getting less surround-y with each advance in format (DTS CD most adventurous surround-wise and the BD-A the least).

edit: sorry i got it wrong, on the BD's its 5 shows in total across 3 discs.

Dinner at 2 A M, Adam???????

Unlike the SACD multi of the Allman Brothers @ Fillmore East, I do like the SACD multi of Each a Peach.

I really wonder why they didn't include the [astounding] discrete version of the Fillmore Concert on those 3 BD~As as there was plenty of room and to me it would've been MORE DEFINITIVE!

oh that's too late for a schoolnight Ralph! ate around 10:30, tucked up in beddybyes now 'surrounded' by my favourite people (you lot!)

edit: no idea why Universal do some stuff the way they do it where surround music is concerned! they have done so many a-ma-zing multichannel music releases (imho) and then they do a headscratcher.. ah well, we all have off days!
