Thompson Twins - Into the Gap

Always liked this album, still feel that way revisiting it now. Ton of bonus tracks, all good especially the off the wall tunes, rather than repetitive remixes. The 2 channel sound is clean and clear though other than a few tracks here and there it sounds thin; not enough bass.
Edit: The instrumental version (5.1 dts downmixed) is excellent.

Simple Minds - New Gold Dream (81-82-83-84)

Still my favourite Simple Minds album. The stereo sound on this SDE Bluray is clear and punchier than ever. The remix is noticeably different especially in the vocals and keyboards. Not better or worse, but good. Instrumental versions enjoyable too though they sound more like the original mix minus vocals, less punchy than the remix.
A worthwhile purchase for sure.
