this coulda shoulda been good. but a "temporary' new lead singer kind of skewers it from being good

What Made Milwaukee Famous -
What Doesn’t Kill Us

Their second album, a bit harder overall than the debut. Like the slightly softer tracks better.

The BlueBeaters, Shock! from 2020 .. which I just now found.
Another fun ska release.
I wish I knew a good site to track foreign releases, does anyone?

And the other goody in the mail today:
Giuliano Palma, Old Boy from 2014; not too long after he left The BlueBeaters.
More of a 60's vocal album with a hint of rocksteady than the ska he had been doing.
I did not know that Always Something There To Remind Me was a Burt Bacharach/Hal David tune recorded as a demo by Dionne Warwick; I always thought it was written by Naked Eyes.

Ray Brown Trio SOME OF MY BEST FRIENDS ARE SINGERS [Lasting Impression Music/XRCD 32 bit remastered] Sometimes you just have to 'pinch' yourself that you're actually listening to a RBCD! The sonics are astonishing, the repertoire sublime and the current price @ Elusive Disc intoxicating:

Madonna FINALLY ENOUGH LOVE: 50 NUMBER ONES [RHINO/WARNER/3 RBCDs in Digipack] Forget the once hairy armpits, lewd behavior, Madonna Louise Ciccone REALLY delivers on this cornucopia of hits, 7" remixes and radio edits. RHINO has done a spectacular remastering job. Nothing to complain about HERE. And the Price is Right!

Don't forget Julie Driscoll, Brian Auger and the Trinity. Be sure to check out Encore and Streetnoise. Both spectacular!
I found her 1969 solo here to be an interesting, rather jazzy mix of Joni Mitchell and Sandy Denny. While she can be
raucous when needed, especially at the beginning, I prefer the quieter tunes on this one. Glad I got it, and will certainly
give it a relisten or three.
