Jethro Tull - Another Christmas Song (UK single)

Noel - Baez was wonderful on LP. Expanded CD has several bonus tracks. Orchestrated by Prof. Peter Schieckle (PDQ Bach.)

Have seen/heard Schickele and Baez live, though not together.
Supposedly the extended CD was remastered from the original analogue masters! Sounds incredible but would most definitely be a slam dunk release in higher resolution SURROUND.

Hard to believe, Joan turns 81 on January 9th

Everclear - So Much For the Afterglow

Pulled this out wanting to refresh my memory of it because Intervention Records is floating the idea of releasing it on SACD.
My recollection was that it was kind of ‘meh’. That impression still stands, sounds like so many other groups of that era, so an SACD version would probably be a pass.
The SQ in 16/48 MLP in stereo is decent.

Need to spin Tull Christmas discs and December, haven't spun them in years.

For the last several weeks, have been rediscovering my Zappa collection, too. Also listened to Lather 3 CD, plus The Yellow Shark UK CD, Zappa's Universe (tribute - Dweezil & Steve Vai guest), At the Circus, Playground Psychotics 2 CD, Ahead of Their Time, Conceptual Continuity, Disconnected Synapses, Absolutely Free expanded Ryko CD, Fire/Sofa 2 CD, Any Way the Wind Blows (Frank in Paris) 2 CD, and these two rarities:

Man......this thing smokes! Four complete concerts recorded at the Whisky in Los Angeles in the summer of 1977. This is more than a year before Budokan and the band is still relatively unknown, having only released one album at this point. And they are just kicking some serious ass.
Is that a CD set, or LP? How is the sound quality?
