This really is a wonderful disc, so well recorded, arranged and a great tribute to a lifelong friend and collaborator.

Listening to another great recording from the THE MONTREAUX YEARS and BMG LABEL
This newly released MQA STEREO CD by Flamenco artist Paco de Lucia does not disappoint. Comes at you with a big punch.
Recorded live at 3 venues, 1984, 2006 and 2012.

My disc is arriving today according to AmazonUS. So far this entire series of MQA encoded discs has been nothing short of phenomenol! And beautifully packaged as well in sturdy hard covered digipacks with copious liner notes.

Another Rare Earth MQA Stereo CD playing through the MQA Luxman. This one 1970's Ecology has an improved sound over the first two I listened to. Sometimes that is the case with older recordings but obviusly some older recordings smoke the newer recordings, anyway this is good. So far I have liked all the Rare Earth music, lots of rock and Motown covers. This is the first album where Eddie Guzman comes in with percussion and congas and really livens things up.

Ralphie, check this Montreux Years So Far
I did not know, but ordered today the Chick Corea and Monty Alexander are part of the series, but only RBCD. Wonder if they did not want to pay the brand MQA for the release?
It will be interesting to compare sonic quality, I still expect them to be good recordings

Markie, BOTH are indeed MQA encoded and sound exquisite! BTW, BMG management who released all these MQA encoded Montreux discs recently took over the entire George Harrison Dark Horse catalogue, FYI, and as posted in another QQ thread are being streamed in Dolby ATMOS. Of course, UMG has already released the entire George HARRISON catalogue previously as UHQ MQA~CDs .... and to my ears, they are incredible [save for ALL THINGS MUST PASS which has been superceded by the recent ATMP box set with the BD~A].

OK, good to know, they are listed as CD, so naturally I thought-----------
I have been listening to Harrison via Apple Atmos one album a night, stellar, some of the best I have heard, it does help if you like the artist and there style of music and I love George Harrison.
I saw the MQA's of his catalog when they came out but I already had the 24 bit HDTracks versions and I just couldn't double dip.
