The Police - Synchronicity



When this album was released, I was a huge King Crimson/Robert Fripp fan. I was buying everything that Fripp released so I had picked up the Summers/Fripp album, "I Advanced Masked" , the previous year. As soon as I played the first cut, I could hear Fripp's influence on Andy's playing that continued throughout the album... making this easily my favorite Police album.

Maybe some were aware Psychedelic Furs had a new album. I wasn't. The production is really good. Incredible drumming, bass playing, and singing. Pretty amazing it's been almost 30 years since they released something. Not surround or hi-res, but sounds really good to me.
