Jethro Tull - RökFlöte

Unlike its predecessor this sounds and feels like a Tull album.
Good songs that stick together thematically.
Sound is very good especially the 24/48 on the Bluray. There are two versions (on the BD), the original mastered by Nick Watson and another mixed by Bruce Soord. Prefer the former by a considerable margin.

I didn't go to this show, but I saw them during that same tour at a college in upstate NY. Amazing evening! My buddies and I somehow wound up backstage afterwords when someone from the stage crew asked around if anyone had a cigarette for Paul Simon. We were ushered in and I got both of them to sign the back of an EvaTone Soundsheet I got from HitParader or some such mag. Of course it is long gone, but the memory lingers.

It was the second 'rock concert' I had ever attended. The first was The Dave Clark 5 (in a start-to-finish 35 minute!) "under the stars" show on a high school football field...go figure. LOL

Dave Koz and Friends A SMOOTH JAZZ CHRISTMAS [Capitol Records] WOW .... anything but smooth ...actually quite exhilarating and exceptionally well recorded. Highly Recommended for that jazzy Christmas out of the ordinary! 🎄
