Marillion - Clutching At Straws

Despite the subject matter, and Fish’s sometimes annoying persona, this album makes me realize I prefer him to his bland (to my ears) replacement. There is an energy and edge that’s missing with Hogarth.
Good album, this set includes a great live show and a disc of interesting demos. Sound is good on the Bluray in 24/48 LPCM.

BTW, when I played this through my Main System in DSP SUPER mode, it decoded so DISCRETELY it made my head literally SPIN. Should sound brilliant though the Surround Master! Frank Sinatra wasn't kidding when he quipped that a Song's Best Friend is Ms Peggy Lee!

Elton John 17~11~70 {Rocket Records/Remastered Stereo RBCD] Mr John at his FINEST. An incomparable performance! Includes 2 previously unreleased Tracks: MY BABY LEFT ME and GET BACK ! Does it get any better than THIS?

11-17-70 in the US (and Canada) fantastic album alright! I'm not sure which CD version I have but I remember that it is brickwalled, so I will have to look for another CD version or rip my vinyl!

I am happy to report that my Elton John 11-17-70 CD is a remastered 20 bit version and is NOT in any way compressed. In fact, it sounds fantastic and Nigel Olsson's drum kit sounds amazing with some nice deep bass.

The remastered version has the gold insert on the left hand portion of the CD case [Elton John The Classic Years]
