Slave - Show Time

I normally like soul/funk from this era but this album is too polished, I found it a bit tedious.

U.K. - Night After Night

Really good live album (not usually a fan of them but the completist in me insisted I buy it) so the gamble paid off. The only misstep is the bonus track When Will You Realize a studio recorded b-side, it’s weak musically and sonically.

Brother Jack McDuff - Moon Rappin’

Sounds like a cheesy comment but this album is groovy, and that’s meant as a compliment.
One of my favourite BN85’s thus far.
Thanks for the heads up, RANG. Just added this disc to my current CDJapan order. In the comment section, this UHQ CD was remastered by none other than Kevin Gray. Sounds GROOVY! ☮️

Wrabit - West Side Kid

Third and final album. Poppier than the first two and that’s not a bad thing, some really good AOR tunes. I recognize Say Lady Say, it must have got some FM airplay back in the day (‘83).

Hi folks, do people chat on here or are you mostly announcing your listening into the void? I'm mostly into surround music but I've gone mad and bought a cheap turntable and have started listening to my 40+ yr old vinyl collection. Mostly NWOBHM as I'm from the midlands in UK. And I went to my first record fair last weekend.

Sorry to interrupt.

Steve Hackett Spectral Mornings
(from the record fair) and earlier

MSG MSG
(from my old days).

Cheers

Its a bit of chat about music, equipment etc. (apart from the random thread!) and bit of posting to the void, depends on who is on line or not at the time you post

Jethro Tull - Bursting Out

Yet another excellent Tull box set. Great performances and the sound is top notch on both the original album and the MSG show part of which is on video .
