I just skimmed through some of the Stones compilation, the stuff from Sticky Fingers sounds like it was run through Penteo or a similar process - the side surround speakers have whatever is panned hard left & right (such as the twin acoustic guitars in "Wild Horses") at about 75% volume, along with some remnant of the drums/bass/vocal upfront. On the other hand, "Miss You" has an isolated keyboard part in the sides. I'm not hearing much activity in the rear surrounds or the heights, it's mostly just the sides.

Also - "Heartbreaker" is definitely not the same as the Atmos mix found on Goats Head Soup, the backing vocals are now in the front instead of the rears :(
Are all the goats heads soup tracks different mixes? What about tattoo you?

The snare drum on the Honk version of start me up sounds so much better than the album version

It has that snare crack back just like the original

There are lot of atmos mixes done poorly where the snare drum loses its whack

It was not in Atmos here the last time I checked.

oh that's a shame.. 😔 its in Atmos here in the UK at last! ❤️

Iirc the band’s representative on their subreddit claimed there was an issue getting Vatari up everywhere in Atmos, but hopefully it’s mostly resolved. I asked them if they intend to do more, and they said “nothing to announce at this time”, which is one of those non-answers with a hopeful tilt…

Well maybe I'm, but I'll never listen to Journey without Steve Perry, that's not Journey to me.
The albums BEFORE Perry are better, but I still like the mainstream Perry stuff too. Can't say I have ever heard a note post Perry, but that will change now that there is an immersive mix.

Sorry, but it's Atmos for me here as well (thx for the heads up btw, I've forgotten about Valtari totally) - can you play Sigrid in Atmos yet at least?
Have not tried Sigrid lately, so much new music. She's usually not my style, but would be nice to hear as she's from not far from here.

Yes, that´s why I was asking, too. She´s got a couple more singles, remixes and a Home Session in Atmos now. Anyway, all that didn´t make me to go to see her gig here...

I have hard time (and, frankly, not all that much interest in) keeping up with all the Lil Whosits and Whatsit Boiz in the contemporary hip-hop/r&b world. What's with all the corny diminutives? But after reading a review in the New York Times the other day--the paper profiled him a couple of years ago--I checked out the latest release from Nigerian pop superstar Burna Boy, and I like it, auto-tune and all. Good tunes, good mix. More 5.1 than Atmos, though.
