Ozzy just went Atmos - can't really tell if it's the whole album or just the Patient Number 9 single, as all the listings on Apple now suddenly claim they're Atmos, until I play them... o_O
Patient Number 9 features Jeff Beck on guitar, and a note for Jeff Beck his guitar sounds like when he played 30 years ago, not the new style he has been using since Guitar Shop, I love it.

It’s just one song at this point for me, I noticed there’s more guest guitarists on the album like Clapton, McCready, Wylde and Iommi. The mix is fun. Well done.

I just renewed my Apple Music suscription, and I have bookmarked pretty much all suggestions and recommendations on this thread. So I'll start quoting back releases and that I enjoyed, for instance this.
Stellar ATMOS mix. demo material.

The Black Keys in surround sound!!! 🤘

First single, 'Wild Child' from their upcoming album Dropout Boogie (out 13/5). Both Song and mix are excellent! :) I would LOVE IT if Brothers and El Camino got Atmos mixes too...

Apple Music - Dropout Boogie by The Black Keys

Apple really starting to drive me insane with this now. So they appear to have added the "atmos" label to albums that merely have one track. So I go through the albums periodically and check if any additional songs have been updated to atmos and add them to my library (I only have atmos songs in my library). Just went through Weezer's blue album and noticed "Say it ain't so" has been added. Checked the Green album - nothing new - still just "Island in the Sun". Looked at Pinkerton on the off chance. Atmos logo (see pic - assuming I've attached correctly) - not a single track as far as I can tell. Anyone else got this nonsense?

I was just looking at the Serge Gainsbourg catalog on Apple, and almost every release of his was labelled as Atmos, dozens of items including singles, compilations and live albums. I added a bunch of them to my library (like you, I only have Atmos or Dolby Audio tracks in my library), and then when I went to play one, it showed as Lossless... and so did all the others I had just added. Hopefully this is just a temporary glitch?

I'm seing *everything* labeled Atmos since yesterday - no telling what's what until I play the track.
On top of that, few tracks played show "Lossless" label, but are Atmos actually.
Hunting for Atmos titles was kinda fun for me but this is too much.

I'm confused - it used to be that for an album that's a mix of stereo & Atmos tracks, they'd tag it lossless. So now it's the reverse? If there's only one Atmos track, the entire release gets tagged as Atmos?

Yes, that's the way it used to be. Now literally EVERYTHING is Atmos - I'm looking at the new Beyoncé right now and see Atmos, Lossless and Apple Digital Master labels.
And no, I wasn't fiddling with anything here.

Apologies. I didn't spot everything was labelled as atmos. I thought it was just the Weezer ones as I got dragged into a fight with the kids.

Oddly, the only album I have showing not in atmos (i.e. showing just "lossless") is the nigh-on-impossible-to-find atmos version of "jagged Little pill" .

Going to give searching a rest and stick to enjoying the "some girls" tracks from Honk. :)

Similar issue on my end, the new (all ambient) Alanis Morissette album is showing up in the Spatial Audio Category, and sometimes when I look at it has the Atmos badge, but it’s lossless. Been like this for a week in a half. I keep periodically checking to see if it is, as more ambient in Atmos would be great but alas…

I don’t see the Atmos tag on the Pinkerton album.
