I've bought just about everything Stefan and his gang at IAN have done. Their use of immersive (I listen to their native Auro-3D if MKVs, and Atmos if lazy and just streaming) is next level IMHO. I haven't bought this one, but after a couple ATV4K listens I will. :)
Maybe this will give me initiative to actually open and burn mine. IIRC it was a BD-R

Something isn't right between the two Raw Power mixes on Tidal. Both the Iggy and Bowie versions are identical? Maybe one got messed up, and the same mix was added twice? The only difference is the Artwork.

Good news is, the DR #'s are 13!!! for just the bed audio. The mix is really good like you mentioned!

Great day today with the Satriani and Iggy! Two grand slams!
Am really curious about the Raw Power mixes. The Tidal credits reveal nothing. Just based on what's presented I can't help but be suspicious that they're upmixes *but* having said that I haven't yet listened, am away from my rig at the moment. I mean, crediting Bowie, and knowing he used the multi's to make his mix, how could it possibly be from the multi's? Maybe it's an (un-named) engineer making atmos mixes in the 'spirit' of those original Bowie/Iggy mixes?

It would actually make (more) sense that there would be only one Atmos mix....

I'm disappointed with the Beck mix, other than the harmonica part in the tops. Left a lot of meat on the bone I feel.
I donno; I kind of like it. The arrangement is pretty spare to begin with, so limiting the overheads to harmonica (and some low-level strings and synths) seems appropriately subtle. More deliberate, anyway, than the mix on the Paisley Park Sessions EP, where certain elements from the fronts and rears--crash cymbal, most notably--are "lifted" into the corresponding height channels at low volume.

When is UMe gonna get behind "Atmosizing" Beck's catalog? At the very least it'd be nice if they'd take advantage of "Dolby Audio" to get his OOP 5.1's out to a bigger audience.

This is no upmix, it's a really fun listen with full use of all channels.
