Yeah, I've never given her much time before, but this album is really infectious and very entertaining. Mix sounds okay too, on my 5.1 system anyway.
Anybody else find the kick-drum super boomy, or is it just my rig?

I'm liking the album even more after spending some time with it.

I very much enjoyed listening to Alfredo Rodriguez's Cuban Jazz with morning coffee.
The final track Fur Elise will be familiar to anyone who took piano lessons as a child.
His version is a Buena Vista Social Club interpretation that swings Beethoven like crazy.

...combines Cuban sounds such as timba with salsa, bachata, tango, reggaeton, and bolero, funk, rock, African music and pop elements, highlighting an addicting fusion of musical styles...
...recorded in Madrid, Spain and features the charming Portuguese-language vocals of talented Spain-based Guinea-Bissauan singer Alana Sinkëy..
.

Tour dates coming up in the USA in the autumn, and right around the world.
