a very short electronic/ambient album with a great atmos mix. I particularly like Smoke State Chapter 2.
you can also listen to the separate stems, in atmos!
give It a try.
I don't think he is saying the whole album is in Atmos, just F**k You (and on the clean version, Forget You).
I'm seeing those tracks in Atmos on both versions (explicit & clean) of the standard 14 track album.
Happy Earth Day!
Haven’t listened to these yet, but found a treasure trove of Atmos nature sounds, occasionally with accompaniment in a Carosel in the “browse” tab
my shentimuntsh exshactlee! ✌
Have to agree to disagree
My Foreigner DVD/A, in DD 5.1, blows away the Atmos recordings
The Atmos sounds ok, but no depth, or dynamic range
I'm still not sold
I only have the "4" album on SACD and did a comparison between Urgent from this one and Tidal. Definitely different mixes. Sad to say that the new atmos mix in every way sound worse than the old, at least in my ears. The old mix has got a much better and precise low end. I think the eq on all the instruments and lead vocal sounds better. It feels like they really did work hard to get all the details as good as possible. As for the Atmos mix it sounds more like it has been done in a hurry. Even the surround effects are more creative in the 5.1 mix. In the atmos mix' defense you could say that the snare sounds more like the original stereo mix, but I prefer it sounding a little updated. The 5.1 mix is great, the Atmos is good. The music is great anyhow so keep 'em coming. Hoping for more full best of albums like Elton's rather than just teasers like Foreigner, Billy Idol and Queen.Urgent news!!
(sorry for adding some of these one by one, some didn't come up when i searched for them earlier for some reason )

I felt exactly the same way about the new Atmos mix of Chicago's "Saturday In The Park".Sad to say that the new atmos mix in every way sound worse than the old, at least in my ears. The old mix has got a much better and precise low end. I think the eq on all the instruments and lead vocal sounds better.

I like these new Foreigner Atmos mixes. Sounds good on my 7.2.4 setup, but they have to be turned way up to sound good.I only have the "4" album on SACD and did a comparison between Urgent from this one and Tidal.
