Can't believe such a major release like Coldplay's Moon Music is such a screw up. Featured album in the spatial audio page, preview tracks were in Atmos but release is stereo only. That is leaving money on the table given that Apple pays more for Atmos streams and when do you think that album is getting the most streams? Now when it is just released.

Not to mention there is a extended version of the album listed that gives you an error message when you click on it.

Wow.

Upgraded just yesterday, and that very idea crossed my mind as well... Then again, I had the sound nivelization (or whatever it's called) function on, unwillingly.... Gonna compare some titles with their hard copy counterparts.
I’m convinced it’s better especially listen to some of those great Steven Wilson mixes like Chic - Le Freak, also others reporting clear improvements on Reddit

Looks like we might be getting some John Prine in Atmos soon. Several of the early albums on Oh Boy show as unavailable now in my Apple Music library but when I look at the greyed out placeholders, they now show as Dolby Atmos.

Lost Dogs, Missing Years, Fair & Square, Aimless Love, German Afternoons, & In Spite of Ourselves.

Full Mind Games Meditations Mixes now streaming for John and Sean's birthdays today.
Nearly two hours of ambient immersiveness.

Doctor! Doctor!
Excellent atmos mix from David Kosten on the two tracks available. IMO it is even better than the mix he did of Paul Young's No Parlez. This is Steven Wilson class. :D Can't wait to hear the rest of this album that I played a lot back in 84. I have ordered the Blu-Ray from superdeluxeedition.com and in case you wonder: it is still available!

Billy Idol-Rebel Yell

Strangely needs to be supplemented by this to get the full album in Atmos

I predict this mix is going to polarize a lot of listeners as to my ears ( and set up ) it is very height centric with much of the activity accentuated within my ceiling speakers- which is not a common mixing approach.

Personally I thought the title track was the least appealing.

Mix has the the rare approach of some bass lines appearing to cone from my roof eg : “Catch my fall”.

Not sure how well this will translate with less height speakers ( eg . I have front and rear heights and ceiling overheads). Might sound like duplicated channels without the vertical arrays in place.
