Anyone notice that The Beatles 64 soundtrack for the Disney Streaming Debut on Friday is now available on Apple Music. But a strange issue I found. That soundtrack while including the 2023 versions of Beatles tracks released on the Red Album 2023 none of those are in Atmos. Of greater concern to be (hopefully temporary) Those 6 tracks - Please Please Me, I Saw Her Standing There. Twist And Shout, From Me To You, She Loves You and You Really Got A Hold of Me have all disappeared from being available on the Dolby Atmos 2023 Red Album. Also the Dolby Atmos banner on that album has also gone away. Anyone else notice this? Hopefully those Atmos mixes return soon!!

Restarted my Apple Music subscription to sample the new Rush mixes. I started with the debut and found that again Chycki has gone too heavy handed with the reverb, however it’s the outlier as I found the other 3 (for the most part, Cinderella Man excluded) mimic the sonic character of the original mixes, which is nice to hear. Not wildly discrete but I would say a much better treatment than his previous 5.1’s of 2112 and Hemispheres. I wonder if these will eventually come to blu-ray (in overbloated mega box sets, I’m sure!)

To me "Madrigal" was the one for which he went a bit too far with the reverb, although I think I've read a story somewhere about the recording of that song, and it was apparently in a room with a weird reverb or something. Not really sure, maybe I'm mixing up things.

The reverb on the first few tracks of the self titled Rush album bothered me a bit but I didn't have any issues with the rest of the album. I thought the other three albums are excellent, even without comparing them to the (crappy) 5.1 mixes.
