Nataly Dawn's new EP Gardenview, produced and mixed by Ulrike Schwarz & Jim Anderson. Dawn is one-half of the Bay Area duo Pomplamousse, who became huge quirky-indie YouTube stars in the teens. I like one of her previous solo albums, How I Knew Her, a Kickstarter project that was released on Nonesuch.

@sjcorne reports that the album is available for download at IAA:

Yes happy to say it’s great, it passed the goosebump test.
All of their albums I tried so far are in Atmos……brilliant.
Love to know who did the mix and maybe more Australian rock is in Atmos.
The high light so far and I’ve only scratch the surface is this.
Yup, this is very good. The mixer not afraid of wandering away from emphasis on the left-center-right convention. I can see the need to do that on iconic legacy rock, but I love how fresh this sounds, even given it was released around 2000.

Japanese singer Ayumi Hamasaki has 16 (!) albums in Atmos on Apple, including 2004's My Story, which was released on 5.1 SACD and DVD-A back in the day and was mentioned several times on QQ.
Plus Nonfiction is her current single:

i remember the "My Story" 5.1 being pretty good back in the day, i'll check out some of the new Atmos stuff in a bit.. 16 albums, unbeleeverbubble!! really looks like complete artist back catalogues in Atmos from all genres and territories is becoming a thing!

Wow, what don’t you like?

7 songs in ("My Kind Of Scene") and so far tbh its nowhere near as bad as i had feared πŸ‘

maybe he was being leant on by artists/producers back when he was doing those old 5.1 SACDs & DualDiscs (frankly they were Surround garbage) since this new Atmos mix so far seems superior in terms of quality πŸ™‚

Speaking of which: I was really hoping we might get the remaining Serge Gainsbourg studio albums, starting with Aux armes et cetera, last week for le quatorze juillet. No such luck. (I was briefly excited when I did a Gainsbourg search and everything showed up as Atmos, including the movie soundtracks, but that turned out to be the spurious labeling bug that people have been complaining about.)

they may still be working on rejizzing his catalogue in Atmos? there's only about another 987 albums to go so it shouldn't take long πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚
