Listening to Now In SACD Stereo (or Mono)

I recently bought this and the MoFi SACD. Need to compare them.

Alice Cooper - Muscle Of Love , last of the Alice albums by the original band and still love it, stupidly sold the SACD multi-channel a few months ago and now regret it! have to make do with the standard CD.

Notting Hill Soundtrack

I’ve seen the movie a few times but must not have paid much attention to the music. Didn’t realize it’s so heavy on the ballads.
For the most part the sound is fine.

Joe Jackson - Summer in the City

I’m torn by this SACD. It certainly sounds different but in my opinion I can’t say it sounds better than the CD.
The piano might be a bit cleaner but there’s a loss of space and detail, like they tried too hard to warm it up, really noticeable on It’s Different For Girls which sounds dull.

It’s great that Intervention was able to rescue this from the Audio Fidelity closet.
Sounds great, slickly produced R&B Lite/AOR. The songs are pretty generic fare IMO, nothing stands out.
But a nice album nonetheless.

Sweet album, sounds like it could have been recorded yesterday.

Kenny Burrell - Bluesey Burrell

Wow
Maybe the best album I’ve heard this year.
Kenny’s playing is understated and pure. The subtle percussion is great especially on Guilty.
And Hawk must have been mic’d close because he’s “in the room”, full of body and tone.

This for this! I went to the site and ordered both O. Coleman SACDs. I'm really looking forward to hearing these in sonic holography, which was made to listen to late 50s to early 70s widely panned, crisp stereo recordings.

They never show up at other stores and no reviews that I can find.
