I seem to always be chasing this album, trying to find the best.
Nothing in surround, but I have 4 stereo versions now.
This recent stereo SACD from Analogue Productions, released 5/10/2024 is pretty good. Bass and midrange superior, highs a touch bright.
Disclaimer: I have Tinnitus, so always sensitive to brightness in any form of audio.
Ripped DSF file, DSD64. DR's are 10, 11, 12's, 13's, 14.
I compared to my stereo HDTracks release, and I like this SACD better.
I also have a MQA and a CD release that I did not compare.

the Multis for OoalHeart are a LOT of fun! I have done a 7.1.4 mix and it sounds really good!

Van Halen - II

Never owned this album before, figured I knew little or nothing from it.
Wrong…recognize 4 of the 10 tracks. The rest are great too.
Sounds really fresh and dynamic to me, very nice. Shocked that this came out the year I graduated from high school, doesn’t sound dated at all (unlike myself).
Mastered low though, really have to crank it, which is a good thing.

Dick Schory’s New Percussion Ensemble -
Music For Bang, Baa-Room and Harp

Curiosity made me buy this SACD.
The sound is remarkably spacious for a 1958 recording. The music is good if a bit gimmicky at times. Can’t see me playing it often but glad to have it.
Dick Sshory was interested in exploring a lot of ‘where can I go with this” sort of music. He was very experimental, even inventing his own scale.

Not to everyone’s taste, but very cool to me.

The Human League DON'T YOU WANT ME: THE COLLECTION [UMG HONG KONG/STEREO SACD] A Sonic MASTERPIECE! 19 choice tracks and everyone's a winner. Played on my new system via DSP surround, sounds swirled all over the room. A natural for the SDE ATMOS BD~A treatment. VERY highly recommended

Peter Frampton - Frampton’s Camel

Another good album from Peter (if a bit on the soft side) and home of the studio version of Do You Feel Like We Do but the sound on this SACD is a definite step back from what is heard on Winds Of Change IMO. I’ll compare to the Doug Sax CD one of these days to determine which I like better.

I think I'm more shocked that you made it 45 years without hearing this album in its entirety 😀

I posed your query to Shane Buettner at Intervention Records; he replied, "Efforting."
I wish he'd try a little harder! (But in the end, I'm with @Rhinojack: this would be a dream multichannel release--and in the right hands it could be a reference Atmos mix.)

Night and Day is also the subject of Josh Mound's latest "The Best Version Of...." at AudiophileStyle. Deep dive, great read.

Peter Frampton - Frampton

Good album, quite a few tracks were made popular on the live album. The sound is pretty good though about half the tracks are annoying in that the sound leans to the left, especially the vocals which are noticeably off centre.

Jeff Beck and Jan Hammer-LIVE- MOFI HYBRID STEREO SACD #830.
Ripped DSF file DSD64. DR's are 12's and 14's.
Super nice stereo sound stage. I like it best when it just stays instrumental.

EXCELLENT STEREO SACD REMASTER and according to MoFi they're only pressing 2000 SACDs! Sounds great on my system utilizing the DSP "SUPER" mode!

Probably my favourite Jeff Beck album. I thought I'd checkout getting one from MoFi or Acoustic Sounds, shipping cost from the US to the UK is high! I think I'll look closer to home first.

Ridiculous s/h charges, Dunc. But since they're only pressing 2000 copies better Hurry. And you won't be disappointed...stellar SACD remaster!
