Didn't either until about a year or two ago and also wondered. Now have Black Celebration (DTS) and Sounds of the Universe (DTS), I'll give them another spin this weekend, possibly neglected here given time constraints.

Hmmm. Out of print? Or just super hard to find? I don't see them on Amazon....where to look?

I became a fan of Porcupine Tree/Steven Wilson, Alison Krauss, and too many other artists in my lust over high def dvda and sacd's, so check out Depeche Mode.

On a side note, I am so thankful for the simple screen saver in Delta Machine bluray. I wish all bluray audio had screen savers. Just a simple suggestion to Steven Wilson and others.

I agree the screensavers a nice touch for those with plasma displays etc but I don't like the way it autoplays the stereo as soon as you load up the disc (seeing as the hoopla on the packaging is made about it being 5.1 and not just Hi-Res).. and you can't Pause it, it's either Stop or Play on all the way from start to finish in one fell swoop..! (at least that's been my experience with the Delta Machine BD-A.

The Depeche Mode CD+DVD editions (various territories released them as Redbook CD + DTS DVD, including Rhino in the USA, Mute in UK & Europe and Sony reissued them in that config too) are still easy to get for decent money.. it's most of the SACD + DVD incarnations that are a pita (and a pain in the wallet) to get now! :yikes

Un Segundo Una Vida - Romero (SACD).

Much livelier than I was expecting, with a very nice discrete mix with some fun active moments of panning etc. (there's a bit where female vocals pan from front to back which is great) Sounds lovely too.

If you don't have it already, grab it while stock is still available @RRP new & sealed, I doubt they'll be pressing anymore since this sleeper came out on SACD in 2004 ;)

I'm one of those plasma owners(Panasonic 65VT-60)and I spend as little time in the menu as possible on these discs..and for all the "SACD haters" out there that's one of things I really like about that format...you don't have to mess with a menu...just insert the disc and you are ready to go

Well Adam as you seem to unearth the good sleeper surround albums I've bought it - looks interesting as he has played with Al Di Meola, Paco De Lucia and John McLaughlin.

This is the same listing for the one I bought:http://www.amazon.com/Black-Celebra...6062&sr=1-1&keywords=black+celebration+cd+dvd

Biggest concern with these is NTSC vs. PAL, mine is NTSC.

And Fredblue is right about the SACD versions being pricey, but if you check the reviews, many prefer the DVD's.

There are/were PAL UK/Euro Collectors' editions (2-disc; CD + DVD-V) without SACD inside if the video format of the DVD is an issue..
..tho' I got rid of all those! :yikes as Mike (LizardKing) says I'm an "SACD zealot" so I just have to have those versions for no other reason than they're SACD! :ugham:

I'm not as much as a Zealot as you :D.... I have a couple of Depeche Euro PAL CD/DVD combos & one US Rhino NTSC CD/DVD combo... the rest I have in SACD.

My Black Celebration isn't SACD tho....

Listebing to now..

Like Minds - Burton, Metheny, Corea and some other splendid chaps I'm sure! (sacd).

Not sure I can sit this one out 'Til the end, I may nod off before it finishes.. the mix is nice, the materials a bit.. well, bordering on dreary in places.. impeccable musicianship, it's all very accomplished but it's not engaging me in the same way most of the other Concords I've heard have. I'll persevere a bit.. sounds very nice.. gorgeous piano in the rear at the moment, elevating interest levels a tad.!
