-PT- FOABP DTS DVD-V
-Tomita- "Snowflakes are dancing"(most recent SACD release) ...actually I ripped this on 96/24 into Logic and stored the radi*active SACDs downstairs in the storage room...this way , I added some "Harmonic Exciter" above 10K and did some shelving dip at 80Hz dip EQ and some parametric dips at 450 and 1160 Hz, with a bit of shelving boost at 10 K....

EDIT,
and now going for "The Planets" SACD (refer to the Debussy ripping procedure above sans any processing)

Now playing with the Surround Master:

America - Homecoming DVDA

I'm using a Macbook Pro on OS 10.6.8 with Decibel and a HDMI cable going from the display port to my Onkyo receiver. I ripped the DVDA to multichannel FLAC and it sounds great. I'm quite surprised - other than the pain of manually entering the track titles this seems like a viable solution. Lion users are out of luck though. Decibel on Snow Leopard allows sample rate matching so whether it's the stereo rip at 192/24 or surround at 96/24 theres no degradation. Apple changed all that with Lion unfortunately - maxing the bitrate at 96/24. This DVDA is particular naked in it's sound and as such I'm not hearing any artifacting or weirdness. It just sounds rich and full - just like the DVDA.

Two Telarc Surround Sound CDs recorded with the Spatializer system:

I don't remember seeing these. I spent an afternoon with James Moody at the airport in Orlando. At the time, he was listening in heavy rotation to Chick Corea and the Brecker Brothers. James was a very gentle soul.

The Memphis Horns disc is terrific, Linda! Etta James, Bobby Womack, William Bell, Mavis Staples.. its a veritable who's who! you have to pick it up! added bonus its great thru PLII, I can only imagine how good it is thru the Surround Master!

Branko - My World Electric - SACD
Blue Oyster Cult - Secret Treaties - SQ Vinyl -> SQ Final -> DVD-A
