Yep mix is certainly missing the surround-y treatment,,,great music though.it'd take a crate of ale to get that mix even remotely surround-y enough for my liking! its more Silverline shite! musically however = yum!

Say what you will about Silverline and their shit 5.1 releases, and there’s a ton of them, they killed it on the two Gordon Goodwin Big Phat Band releases I own: Swingin’ For The Fences & XXL. an Elliot Scheiner mix i need to revisit, don't recall it setting my pants on fire at the time (but then there's been a few mixes and pants in the years since so its great we can reassess and change a vote!
I've had that one for awhile (being a big Taj fan); and thought it was pretty much a shite live recording; and also isn't just Taj and a phased out electric guitar on most of it. I'd bet even the SMv2 couldn't save it, but have a mighty crack at it anyway -who knows!Taj Mahal

Yeah I love that one for the music, also probably lacking the surroundie thingy because it's solo guitar stuff?

Not to get too off course with the thread; but, I've been enthralled with "Sticky Fingers" lately on the SM. Much better than you'd ever think especially the more acoustic stuff - ya gotta gotta try it!
