I picked this one up on a lark

This is good advice--go to the site and listen to clips; choose the disc with the clips you like best. Or read the poll threads for the few releases that have polls here. @marpow -- I prefer the "stage" mixes (they are also dts) to the "audience" mixes (dolby); they really put me in the action and the surround separation is wonderful. One of the big treats of the releases is the videos--great to watch the artists, and several members who are musicians have commented on picking up some tricks from the flicks! I love all my AIX! And check out all the usual sites for deals, but for me, even at retail prices, these discs are steals! Stay Surrounded!Pretty much self discribing. Audience is mic'd as if your sitting out in front of the group, stage is more like your sitting onstage with the performers grouped around you. They're both cool, depends on which you like more. Maybe best to get 1 disc first which have everything to learn what you like
I couldn't have put it better myself. That's exactly how I play mine, stage mix with DTS surround. To get the full package, I think, is totally brilliant, where else can you get these type of releases, with all you can want from them? This is good advice--go to the site and listen to clips; choose the disc with the clips you like best. When Analogue Productions released a batch of Norah Jones SACDs, Come Away With Me was actually remastered correcting the out of phase issue. Her additional Blue Note SACDs from AP were stereo only. I voted an 8 for AP's remastered multi~ch SACD!
Original Blue Note Multi~ch SACD. Analogue Production's version was released in a Super Audio Jewel Case.

I think that is what I will do, get a disc that has everything and go from there.Pretty much self discribing. David Bowie
Reality
https://www.discogs.com/David-Bowie-Reality/release/2607978I saw David at the IOW festival in 2004 with bro.
We left after he played a quarter of his set.....neither of us could understand why he wanted to play his later 'advent garde' music, rather than his commercial hits. Which being a fun festival, seemed to kill the happy festival mood. Shame that.
We were not alone in quitting the show early.
Indeed Beefy......His later music is not really fit for a festival audience.Sacrilegious my friend !!!
After the horn of Herb Alpert I thought why not:
Doc Severinsen - Rhapsody for Now! 4.0 from DV
View attachment 46807The DOC tracks 14-24 are stereo only.
To, slightly, put matters right,I'm playing Bowie at the start of his creative phase....imo
