Mike's [edisonbaggins] review was spot on. LOVE IT. And for less than the price of a single MoFi/AP Stereo SACD and delivered in perfect condition from all the way across the POND.....a slam dunk home run. My only caveat: the surround mix definitely could've been more 'adventuresome!'

For me I will get the surround on a single disc if it ever comes out

Today its' pissently raining.

So I thought, lets see if I can crack these three Depeche Mode releases that refuse to rip.
I used DVD Decrypter and it said the releases are all region 1 but it would try to crack it.

Well it took a lot longer that I expected but I can now play all three, through VLC media player...wahoo.

Funny, cause I was listening to some BECK last night...

I went on a quest a couple weeks ago to find and listen to African American Spiritual music. I purchased 3 Cd's that where OK.
I was able to find one Hybrid SACD in 5.1, the surround mix is superb, was put together by a international group French/German and has a orchestral sound with rich vocals and harmony's. It has a little bit of piano and other instruments for a big full sound Only $18.00.

It certainly wasn't distorted or rough Beefy.
I will give it another listen later, to see if I can hear anything amiss.

Giving it another listen now, Beefy
The only thing I noticed is that I've had to wack the volume up from the rip......not that's a bad thing!!
Everything is fine.
The mix is not too bad either.

Strange how your copy is giving the distortion you mention, I suppose there could be a duff pressing.
Don't recall other folk mentioning your issue.
